1937 Chevy Truck

I am just starting to work on a 1937 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for what engine and tranny I should use. If you have a recommendation please let me know. It is still a little ways away until I get the the engine and tranny, but I thought I would start thinking about it now.

im actually building a 37 chev pickup right now too.
as for an engine, i guess it really depends on what your plan is for it.
a rat rod vs. a street rod vs. a heavily driven shop truck would all have different motor needs.
