rear steer.

I looked at a couple, Most guys go for the rear steer nova sub frame then upgrade to better, disc brakes. The 70's subframe with the front mount steering gear, wider and contoured front frame rails can make fitting athe rad supt, fenders, bumpers difficult. and I think the Camero is wider than your car ..Most people will tell you to go to a bolt on Mustang II kit and run the GM, camero disc, We Have a couple Camero-firebird Clips, I haven't measured to check the fit for a 46 chevy truck my son was thinking of doing.

chevy suspension

the mid to late 30 chevies used both Knee action front suspension and I beam, Our 36 pontiac also has the Chevy knee action Stock from the factory, there are some differences in the frames. I don't know when chevy started using A arm suspensions. there is a lot more info on the Chevy web forums. .Be aware if you buy a kit.
