1938 Plymouth

Does anyone know for certain if a 1936 Plymouth Sedan trunk lid will fit a 1938?

It looks the same in pictures, but need to know for sure before I buy it on ebay. Thanks, the lonesometoad

I have a '37 Plymouth. I know that the '37 and 38 are the same. The only thing that I know about the '36 is that the roof (rear) seems to have more of a pinch to the roof line where the back window and trunk lid meet. Do you have a measurement of the lid?

Thanks for the info. This is the first time that I have ever used this kind of forum....how really neat.
I am getting a 38 Plymouth that has a beautiful painting on the trunk lid. In fact it is so neat that I want to save it and get another lid to replace it on the car.
I have found a guy that has a car that he is parting out, but it is a 36. I know for ecomomics that sometimes parts are interchangeable and used for more than one year or for more than one car.
Again, thanks for the info so far. lonesometoad

trunk lids

My Hollander shows different lids so most likely will not interchange. Jim

Jim, thanks.

I get the feeling that you are right. I was hoping that it would. Appreciate the comment. Paul
