1939 Chev 1/2 headliner

I'm looking for the trim that hold the headliner in on my 1939 1/2 Chevy truck. I've looked on ebay and area swap meets with no luck. There are two metal strips, one for the front and one for the back. Can anyone help?

I found mine on ebay a while ago so keep looking. Also go to www.stovebolt.com and check the ads. If none are listed put a post in the "parts wanted" section. Someone will help you out.

You can probably make something up using aluminum shaped strips. These can be bought in any larger city and over the internet (search "aluminum shapes"). They have various widths and surface curvatures and are usually easily formed to fit. You'll have to drill the mounting screw holes after you have the pieces cut and bent. Use oval head screws and countersink the holes and they'll look great, painted or polished or natural finish.
