Hello Gang I want to say thank you for all your help in the past. Now I am looking for a key blank for my 1940 chevy. The original key was made by Briggs and Stratton and is double cut and 1 1/4 long on the key cut part. This key is for my door locks if you contact me I do have a picture of it I can send out:welcome: Dave
Chevsofthe40s has them, or any good key center in an old hardware has the blanks, just won't say B&S on them.. Briggs made the lock cylinders thru their lock division. They ran that division until the mid 70's when they sold out the division to another company, and that company still makes locks for various things.
