Don't quite understand the rationale for such a swap. The ranger suspension and v-6 aren't exactly what most people think of as prime street rod material. Might as well grab the family lawn tractor and throw in the 10 horse briggs and stratton. Don't waste that prime rod material on such a dog. Its too easy to throw on a nova front clip or a mustang II on these old fords and drop in a small block. Actually, my guess its much less work than doing the ford ranger thing. But, if thats what you want, do it right. Just dont plan on getting a lot of respect on cruise night with such a rig.
