1941 dodge doorlock

Don't know if anyone can help me . Mydoorlock spins with the key but the door won't unlock. It will open from the inside with the door handle but the outside handle won't turn. any suggestions?

When I had to have my locks worked on in my 46 I took it to a lock smith Fixed the one side the lock would not turn all the way, the other was just junk. I think he charged me $50.00 bucks parts and all then reset the locks.Saved me a lot of time and money.
