1946 ford coupe

Will a 1983 ford ranger front axle replace a 1946 ford coupe axle? Cut frame and replace with 1983 frame and axle

I think most guy's put something like a mustang II front suspension under theirs.

the early Ranger is a twin I beam front suspension ( AKA: Boat Anchor )
