1946 plymouth 2dr sedan delux stereo
:welcome: Hi. Well my father-in-law and I am restoring a 1946 plymouth 2dr sedan delux (well he is restoring it i'm just doing the elctronics and such) we have found a place that took the factory radio and turned the guts into a new am/fm radio with 4 speaker hookups (it turned out really cool :pimp: ; looks completly stock, and even has an aux input for an ipod under the dash). This car only had 1 speaker in the center of the dash and we want to change this to a 4 speker set up. There is very little room behind the rear seat and I am looking for any ideas on size and brand of a speaker that sounds great on a 40watt/ch stereo radio  . More than likley anything above 5-1/2" is too big.

well...
well you can cut holes and put some kinda cover on them that makes them look old like an old style speaker grill....it just depends..theres alot of ways it can be accomplished it just depends on what your needs are....

Is there room under the rear seats?
Is there a low spot or an access hole that you can stick the speaker in that can make for a flush mount? |
