Question 1947 Chevy Aerosedan 4-Link Rear Suspension Kit???

Hello all, I am new to the forum! This is great to get feedback from all you Hot Rodders! I would like to know if there is a 4-Link rear suspension kit for my 1947 Chevy Fleetline? I want to add the airbags on it. Thanks.

Welcome JC,

I don't remember seeing a specific kit for your car but a 4 link kit can be made to work. There are several places that have them available - check with Progressive automotive in New Baltimore, OH or Art Morrison just for two.

Thanks for the reply!

I will check with these manufacturers...will it do any good to keep my leaf spring system and then go with the air bags?

Guess that depends on what your goal is with the car. I believe Air Ride Technologies has a bag over leaf spring suspension http://www.ridetech.com/

Check out their information as they provide good coverage.
