I agree with Brian.... unless you are having a chassis built, it is hard to beat an original frame with it "spruced up" with a new aftermarket IFS or a correctly installed subframe.
I also agree with him in the fact that the new chassis you found sounds liked a wicked good deal and you should jump on it ... perfect for what you are doing... however... you will want to go over that thing with a fine tooth comb. Most of the time you find those for sale is because someone screwed up the subframe install and its out to lunch... then you are essentially cutting it out and starting from scratch anyway so then you just find you a clean unmolested frame and crossmember instead of someones abortion. |
