1950 3100 truck front hub/drum interchange

recently got a 1950 3100 looking for interchange of front hub and drum have 8 lug now want 5 lug heard 50 to 54 chevy car drum will work

Yes 49-54 Passenger car spindles and all will work. I believe on the 50 you need to swap the spindles too, on a 51 and up the backing plates and hubs bolt on, but on the 50 they don't as I remember.

I did a 50 just changing the hubs and drums. there is a difference in brakes, 48 to50 has Huck brakes, 51 to 54 are Bendix, but the drums are the same
