Bob, don't wanna bust on you but it seems you are just photoshopping pics off the net, please be carefull of the photographers right to copyrighted work, it's a big mess if you get caught. I know as a photographer that pics are out there but once you manipulate a photo without permission, problems arise. Please be careful.

It's cool, Bob, the internet is a vast communication network, one day you may find an e mail from the photographers stating if you sold or made any profit, you will have to pay them, and it starts at around 2,400 for an infringment. A large price to pay thinking that "I only manipulated a pic and you put it on the net" once these get around, it comes back real fast. I found that car on the net within seconds with a simple google search. I hope you still continue doing your art but also don't want to see you get hurt in that way, we love our artwork.

I don't believe this was a professional photographers work .... this was a car for sale at Barrett Jackson's auction. It wasn't for a show or a gallery..... and of course, I'm not selling these or doing anything with them other than what you see here on this site. If you look at my Flicker site, you will see I have permission from the photographers before I used their photos, and I not only give them credit for the original, but also promote their Flickr site as well. I appreciate the dialog we're having.

Regards,

Bob

Bob, that's great that you are going back and forth also with the photogs and so on. It's a good relationship when we all stay in the same frame of mind. As a photographer myself I understand the importance of everyone who is willing to share an image that they need for some obvious work to further their skills also. Kudo's on professionalism.

Sincerely Mark

The car in question is from another site, and his pics are sold for profit. The images was loaded from here http://www.ratrodstudios.com/order.html This is Bob Kramers business to take photos and turn them into the works of art that you see.

Kevin,

I'm not sure the purpose of your post. If it is to allege that I am selling photos taken by others, then you are very mistaken. Yes, I do have a website that is to take car photos and turn them into artwork. And yes, I do have EXAMPLES of photos on that site. BUT, none of them are for sale unless they are in the "Original Artwork" section. Those are photos taken by me or used with permission from the photographers .... who I split the sales proceeds with if one of their photos should sell after I have done my artwork on them.

If your post was for some other reason, not obvious to me, then please state your thought more clearly so I can respond appropriately.

Regards,

Bob

Must be my mistake. I didn't realize that you were Bob Kramer beings that you mention a Flicker site that the photos are posted at.

..and yet a rap artist is allowed to "steal" 30 seconds of someone else's song without permission, nor do they have to credit the writer!

30 seconds!! That's the whole riff! Then they just loop it over and over, add a synthetic beat, and rap over it. All of a sudden he's a GENIOUS!

Anyway, great photoshopping skills. You have a really great eye for colors and balance.
