1950 Chevy pickup (about to start this build)
Hey guys, first post here. A "newbie" if you will. My dad gave up. After years of "plans" for our 3100 build he just gave it to me. Just gave it up. Well it's all I ever bring up in our conversations anyways... So here we are!...
1950 Chevy 3100. Cab and bed off frame. Everything stock right now. I would (oh and be patient i will post pictures later today) really like to use the original frame. I have a Camaro IFS and a ford 9in rear with chevy hubs as well as discs all way around. Also a 383 stroker waiting. Now for this setup to work, can I use the stock frame? (no i don't have a welder, just yet) How many bills am i looking at throwing at it to get this frame rolling this year? I want to show my dad what he is missing as well as stop dreaming about this truck, AND DRIVE IT! |

Not a kid here lol you can ask me anything about this project, I just need to know majority of peoples opinions towards this powerplant/rearend/front clip combo and it working for a reasonable budget. Going to take pics now..
