1950 Engine swap

Hello..Hopefully someone out there can help me...Last year i was in Pamona for the big swap and saw some BOLT IN engine and transmission mounts for the 1949-52 passenger cars...The mounts would enable you to put in a chevrolet v-8 with a 700r4/350/4l60e. Now that im about to put in a 97 LT1 and 4l60e into my 1950 styleline delux this info would prove to be VERY helpful..anyone knowing of where I can get such a project please respond..

TD Performance sells bolt-in mounts for '49-54 Chevys. I also have a '50 Styleline, but i went with Walton Fab. weld-in mounts. You'll have to trim the ribs on the firewall no matter which ones you use.

EDIT: Walton Fabricating has the trans mount that can adapt any GM trans and i think its a bolt-in.

is is hard to do this swap? I have never done an engine swap so don't know what to expect. Seems like the motor just sits right on top of the framerails and delivers power to the trans that has to fit in a small hole. Then you get a rearend from a 68-75 nova because the origional is a closed driveshaft. How do you fit the tranny in? Can someone please help me, I'm tired of the 216.
