We have a 1950 Ford with a flathead V8 that will not spark? We have replaced coil, points, condenser but still no spark?? Any suggestions? THANKS Dave Shank

Verify voltage at both sides of coil and at points when points are open. That will tell you where your open circuit is. If you have no voltage at either side of the coil you will know you have a blown fuse, bad switch, loose connection etc in the ignition circuit.

We found the problem: The ground wire that connects to points was not connected, it had dropped down below the breaker plate. Car running like a song.... THANKS... Dave Shank
