1951 Chevy business coupe, replaced the 3 speed with a 4 speed transmission.
I put a Saginaw 4 speed in my 1951 Chevy Business coupe and it won't shift. I've adjusted the clutch and while the engine is off it will go into the forward gears but not reverse. When I start the engine it won't go into any of the gears.

Engine running, not going into gear, off the top of my head sounds like the clutch is dragging, readjust. Cannot find reverse shifter not set up correctly verify that. More information will get you more accurate troubleshooting suggestions. What is the brand name of shifter ?
