1951 Chevy cab on 1988 Dodge Dakota help

I am gathering parts and pieces to fit a 51 Chevy pickup cab and 1948 Bell Telco utility box on my '88 Dakota 2wd chassis. Is there anyone out there that has done a similar conversion or can give me some tips to get me started on this project?
