1951 Stude steering box help!

I have original steering set up on my 51 pick-up Studebaker, and is there anyway that I can free it up because it is really really hard to turn? I seen somewhere they had a kit to bolt on your original steering to convert to power steering, but I can't remember where or who sells such a thing! I'd rather try and fix my original set up but I have to fix it one way or another! I'm open for any suggestions, thanks, Dana.

Have you COMPLETELY rebuilt the front suspension and steering? New kingpins and tie rod ends are always the first place to start. Once you are sure everything moves freely, then rebuild the steering box. Suggest you take this over to the Studebaker Truck forum. You'll get plenty of first-hand advice there.
