1952 Ford F-1 IFSA
My wife and I are trying grow an dairy farm in Canada. My truck with 2 boys and a stick shift is difficult to drive in the city areas. With little to no budget for a aftermarket IFS kit, what today is a cheep but good clip, crossmember ect way to go. I love the twin I-beam but they are too wide. Would like to keep the 5 1/2" bolt pattern for the sake of the vintage magnesuim rims I have. I use the truck for fun, but for work/towing vintage tractors ect. so I want a strong system. Can any one help. My freind who is working on a 66 GMC swoped his 4x4 front axle for a stock IFS 2 wheel drive, I looked at it as it is bolt in. Can my frame be safely narrowed to bolt in a GM crossmember and then adapt F-150 brake rotors? Any help is very apprecated. Thank You
welcome from Ontario.....I used a Nova clip in my 51 F1....might noy meet yiur needs, but worked for me.
