1953 chevy 210 straight pipe exhaust

Hey guys I got a dilema here Im trying to figure out what size exhaust tubing to run on my stock 235. Im set on straight piping it and Im thinkin 2" or 2 1/4", its going to exit at the rear bumper.

What size would you recommend? Or have run with?

It will be raspy, crackly and a little buzzy.unless running split manifolds Which in that case I would axx a balance pipe(personally I like x pipes).
