1953 chevy Hood Hinges

I'm gonna need a lot of help with my new toy...

I have a 53 Chevy Bel air, 210, post, Sedan, ECT... I call it my 2 door Sedan...

I need hood hinges for it, I found some on Ebay and got them but when we put them on, one of the hinges broke and just about killed us!!
Does someone have any suggestions about where I can get some NOS hood hinges? Also can I use hinges from a different year?

Thanks So much!!!

Obsolete Chevrolet Parts Co. has them; probably not NOS but new reproduction:

Chevs of the 40's may have some on their shelves, they buy odd parts so perhaps you can get lucky and find what you need.
They are in Vancouver WA and can be reached at 1-800-999-2438
