Well I am new here I have had my 53 Chevy 2 door for 20 years now. ever since high school I was hell bent and spent every dime I made on her while working in high school made my girlfriend kinda mad but I guess not to mad since she is now my wife LOL. at any rate I lost interest in her for about the last 15 years and she has been sitting well the last month I have ordered new rims, Ignition, and a ton of other parts for her. She has been sub framed out with a 79 Camaro and she has a 350 with 12:1 compression and a dual quad tunnel ram set up. I painted her in High school what was supposed to be the color of zz tops Cadzilla but the lady at the paint shop sold me cranberry and told me when it driend it would be the swame color of cadzilla well that was BS. Now I am preping her again to be painted this time I am going with Hot Rod Black and am in the process of removing the Chrome as she was burried : ( for years
out of from the depths of storage.
the heart of the beast she will be tearing it up again very very soon

Welcome. The only thing is that after not running for 15 years i would think you'll at least want to rebuild the engine. But cool car anyways.

nah I started her about 7 years ago she was fine. I turned it over by hand everything is good so far I will fire her up in prob 2 weeks

Today I cleaned up the engine compartment and resparayed that I removed all the Chrome from the sides and removed the passenger side exterior door handles getting them preped for shaving YESSSSSSSSSSssssssssssss
