1953 F100 just bought and need help....
The motor does not run, it will turn over. I was thinking about pulling it out and putting in a 302 with a tremic tranny?
The only reason was to cut on the cost of the flat head rebuild? What is the average price of a rebuild for a flat head? And how much HP will I expect out of her? The truck is matching numbers all orginal and would keep the motor. Just dont want to be into the motor for 5k if I could install a 302 FI for 1500.00.... And if I rebuild the Flat head what tranny can I mate up to that? Thanks Dan |
