1955 Chevrolet 3200 lowering

Hi,
Heres the deal i want lower my truck(1955 Chevrolet 3200) and i have 125 dollars (welding and cutting is not a problem) to do it. If anyone one has any ideas please let me know.

If you want the old school way it would be flip the axles to sit on the springs, the rear is the easiest, just weld new perches on the bottom(make sure to keep your pinion angle correct) and for the front fabricate some u-shaped perches that go under the axle with register holes and up to the original spring perches. take a flat piece of plate with a nut welded to it that fits in the original spring register hole and weld the ends to the new u-shaped perches so that it forms a box around the axle. I would recommend new u-bolts and you should be under $50. Will still ride like a pick-up but you will look kool.
