hi, i have a 1955 chevy 2 dr post. my wife is trying to do the upholstery for me, we are having a little trouble trying to figure out where to hogring the sides of the front seat backs also the back of the front seat this is a split bench original frame. im going to use the cover plates for the sides as well as the bottom.. if anyone could please send me a picture of the front seat backs with the side plates off so we could see how they fasten to the frame would be a big help.. or if anyone knows where i could get a book to show us how to do the 55 chevy seat, thanks! Sorry I don't know any one who is using the stock front seat in their 55's. They are all using buckets.

Gregs Automotive has factory assembly manuals and a restoration guide for your 55. They will be great reference material for anything you do on your Chevy.
