Does anybody know of a cheap vendor for a gas tank that fits a 2 door 1955 chevy car...

You can probably order one at your local auto parts store if there are any real parts men left working there. Otherwise try H&H Classic Chevy Parts in Arkansas. The town is the home of WalMart, it escapes me this minute. They'll have it on the shelf.
