1955 dodge pickup

[IMG][/IMG] Hello everybody Me and my 14 year old our tring to rebuild a 1955 Dodge pickup we are going to set it on a 1982 dodge pickup this is going to be his first driver when he gets his drivers lic so if anybody has some short cuts our ideas help us out this is my first rebuild thanks

Hey LONDART here you might be better off using a Dakota frame.

A Full size P/U frame is too wide. The Dakota is almost exactly what you are lookking for. The rack and poinion steering and ability to mount a newer MAGNUM motor is also great to have. I used a 1990 standard cab for my 1955 short box (6') Dodge P/U Hope this helps cheers.
