This is a borderline ad, we reserve those and usually move them to the dump. I will move to basics, unless another mod has objections, then it will be dumped. You can ask if anyone knows where to find one, as in vendors, old car wrecking yards, that type of thing, but asking if a member has one for sale doesn't work, that's why we have classifieds. If a member has one, do the business end of that in the private messages. Toss an ad in the classifieds as this post will probably disappear into the pages unless someone happens to know where you can find one. Good luck.

I understand, I did a google on the part, we've had members in the past looking for these and not having much luck, I sympathize. This is kind of a grey area with me, other mods might want to send off to the dump, hopefully you have some luck. WD is a good guy and has a handle on the Poncho stuff, if anyone can help, it will be him and I am sure he is quite trustworthy. I am going to edit out the personal stuff from your original post, maybe that will make our guidelines a bit easier. Actually I see you edited the post already, I don't have a problem anymore.

A HEI from a newer Pontiac can be used in your engine. With some intakes (single 4 barrel shouldn't be a problem) there can be clearance issues because the distributor cap/body is bigger a diameter and can hit the intake. HERE is a page on converting an early Pontiac w/some info on road draft tube/PCV valve mods.

Another option is to convert your points distributor over to electronic by using a Crane XR700 ignition module or something similar from another manufacturer.

If you still need intake info just ask.
