Post 1956 Chev Truck Power Steering

Can anyone give me some pointers on what to do for power steering for this truck with a stock front end?

Post re: 1956 Chev Truck Power Steering

I'm using a Toyota Land Cruiser power gear on my '53 Chevy p.u. in the stock location on the stock beam axle suspension. Similar shape and size, just need to make a bracket to bolt it to the frame. Pittman arm needed heating red hot and straightened, cut off the ball, drilled and reamed for the Chevy tie rod end. Am using a tilt Chevy steering column so will be easy to adapt to the gear with a Borgerson link.

The Truckshop (www.truckandcarshop.com) has just what you need. Either a power assist or a true power steering set up.
