1956 Ford Country Sedan

(This may be the wrong board for this.)
I'm thinking of getting a '56 Country Sedan(4 Door),but wondering if it would be worth hot rodding it? Because what I was gonna do is clean it up for show and race it plus cruise around in it on saturday night.
Thanks.

Cruise, Build what you want, do not let others tell you what to build. If you like the car build it. I have a 57 210 wagon and love it, I have seen a few of these mid 50's ford wagons built over the years and they end up very cool.
