1956 mustang 302
i got a 65 stang with a worn out 302. i wanna go with a crate 320, c6 trans and a posi rearend. im lookin for any help with picking the right combo..i want it to be a weekend/daly driver, but loud and fast .........

Hi if i were you i would stay away from a c6 in that 65 not much room to spare JMO I would go with a c4 or find a good AOD that would fit with no cutting or very little if any IMHO.

The C6 is too large fit wise for your Mustang there are plenty of Mustangs running in the 9's with AOD's & C4's.To catch you up on Ford transmissions check out this site www.clickclickracing.com and spend a lot of time reading the 101 section before you put up a post as you are sure to get a good education by doing the reading available there.www.fordmuscle.com is also a great source to get your information.
