1957 chevy head bolt problem
I have a set of heads from 57 according to the casting numbers. My problem is that I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Felpro discusing why their bolts don't fit my heads. According to them there are 2 medium length bolts for the corners of the heads, underneath the valve covers. However, my head bolt holes are all the same height, my corner holes are not lower. Felpro told me that my heads might be something special, meaning a prototype or limited run.
My question is has anyone heard of this before or does anyone have any information that might help me find out if indeed these are rare. Thanks ahead time. |
