1957 chevy with tire rub

I just put 15" x 7 torque thrust wheels with 235x70x15 on my 57 and am getting tire rub when the front wheels are turned. I see adds with even 17 and 18" wheels on 57 chevys with no rub..what am I doing wrong?
thanks

Ought to be easy to spot, fender rub should show scuff marks on the out side of tire, inside scruff marks, frame or suspension. Any newly cleaned metal up inside of fender well would be another indicator.
