before i put in on a 4x4 chassis, which i would expect to weigh way more! w/ a transfer case and front axle,. with my utility box on it my 3/4 ton 55 chevy truck weighed 5050 lbs w/sbc, and full floating rear.

Look on the door tag for your rated sale weight. My 57 3200 says she is 5000 lbs. It`s a blue factory tag.

My half ton weighed 3500 on feed store scales, but it is on a 67,78 chevy combination running gear. I am also not sure on the accuracy of the scales.

The way I weigh my cars is to throw a few newspapres in the trunk and take them down to the recycling center. They give you a B4 and after weignt ticket and pay you some money to boot! Also, that is such a tre-hugging enteprise that the sacles are probably accurate to 0.0000000001# due to all the scrutiny from our great Socialist governments!
