1957 chevy truck

i just picked up a short bed body with no frame. id like to up date with a newer one...what other years will work? i can get a 1961 chevy short bed frame will it bolt on with minor mods?

60 and newer frames are much different. more then just minor mods to make it work look at www.stovebolt.com

i usually recommend using the stock frame, if you can find one buy it, any 55 (2nd series) to 59 will fit.
they are easy to modify and everything fits.
there was another guy looking for a frame from so cal, i googled it and found 5 frames all under 200.
also look at buying a basket case or parts truck, since you will need a lot of parts to finish yours.
since you don't have a frame some guys use the infamous s10 frames.
