To install PS in your chevy you need a 605 gearbox. There are a lot of chevy shops out there that stock just what you need. Danchuck stocks them. You can also take any 605 gearbox and the box of your chevy and take them to a machine shop and have them cut the mounting portion of both boxes and have the portion of your box and have it place on the 605 box. <img src="graemlins/pimp.gif" border="0" alt="[pimp]" />

the 605 steering box is too short for a tyi-5, so they take your stock box, cut off about 6" and attach it to the bottom of the 605 box. plus they use the 57 pitman shaft and put it in the 605 box after a little modification. So to answer your question - there's NO bolt in power steering for tyi-5 chevy's. So you have to pay 400 plus dollars or get the instructions on how to modify/make your own. Someone posted a web site on how to modify a 605 box a while back on chevytalk.com You could go there and do a search for the info.
