1958 apache engine selection

as some of you know I have an apache with the straight 6 in it and I was thinking of installing the 348 v8 what do you think and what would i have to change?
To get it to fit?

the old 348's looked cool but had some oiling problems, parts are just a little hard to find and definately do not hot rod it.
Is it alright to offer items to other members on these threads?

That thing is a can of worms. Rust is like cancer, and that thing looks pretty sick.

If you buy the lemon anyway, build a 400 for it. I had to vote 350 because there was no choice for a 400.

I'd say a later generation 250 inline 6. I love those inlines!
