Wassup...I'm Brian...from Texas. I have a 1959 Chevy SWB Stepside. I have had the truck since 1999. It is basically a "Rat Rod". I was doing it before it was cool. It was a daily driver for several years and I have had it for most of my youth. I love driving the truck because it feels like a time machine everytime I get in it with the steel dash and vintage gauges. Unfortunetly, it has sat in my garage for the last 5 years. I had a neighbor want to trade me a fully finished 1979 El Camino for it. I thought long and hard about it and I started up the old truck. Apparently having a truck sit for so long is not good for it even if you do start it up everyonce in a while. The steering gear seals went out. The water pump started leaking, and the break master cylinder all have gone out since sitting. I have replaced the water pump, and fixed the power steering seals. The brakes just barely work, but really need to be upgraded. After doing all the work to get the truck back on the road I am doubtful that I am even going to trade at all.
