1960 Rambler

Hi everyone,

I have just joined in and as of yet have no questions but I am sure I Will. I have just gotten a 1960 Rambler American and am embarking on an adventure of "Fixen er up". I have my before picture and as I progress I will post more photos. Thanks to you all and have a great day

Welcome to the site Ramblin Root. Glad to see you love that Rambler; although it doesn't look like much in that pic. I am sure it will be worthy of that love in the future.

To get the most out of the site check out the Knowledge Base and use the search function for quick answers to your questions. As well check out the Project Journals for info and inspiration. Perhaps you will start one of your own so we can follow along with the build and give advice when asked for it. Glad to have you here and enjoy the site. Good luck with your project.

Thanks for the warm welcome, My Dad and his friend will of course be doing most of the work. He loves old cars, he has an 1940 Ford Merc, 1949 Fleet-line, A 1930? something Durant, a 1940 Ford truck and a few others in the works. This is my first remodel a far cry from the "Mommy van" I now drive!

Glad to hear you and your dad will be working on the car together. You will both remember these times forever. My son ad duaghter helped me with my pickup and my daughter (she's 30 and married) and I still go to car shows together.
