There is one on the SF bay area Craigslist for $500. But I seriously doubt it is REALLY a good runner without any smoke. I had a real good running motor, purred like a kitten in my 60 American but it smoked. It's rebuilt now and my 59 is waiting for it.

rambler engine swap

hi all im new to this site .i have a 59 rambler im starting on and im fixin to put a 355 ci. small block chevy motor in it . i am biulding a custom mustang II front crossmember for it. cut the fender wells out and slide it up over the frame rails drill 2 holes bolt it in after you line it up in the car . then weld it up .then ill biuld a set of sheet metal iner fenders for it and roll some beads in it .i may go as far as hulling the car. as my wagon has rust issues with the floors and frame and rockers i may biuld a 2x3 boxed tube frame and mini tubb the car .if i do this i will probly use a 9 inch ford rear or 12 bolt rear . im also looking for a set of ****************************** thanks .
