1962 Buick Electra 225 LT1 Swap

Hey guys,

I think I've probably found the right forum to post this in...

I am getting ready to swap a Fuel Injected Small Block Chevy LT1 into a 1962 Buick Electra 225. I've never swapped an LT1 before, in fact I am more of a Ford guy, but I've got a customer who wants a modern fuel injected power plant in his Buick (the 401 Nailhead is blown). My question is, is there an off-the-shelf motor mount that will work for this swap, or should I just plan on building my own? Also, is the LT1 mount the same as a standard Chevy 350?

I know that there will be other headaches as I go, such as fuel and electronics, but I am actually pretty confident in those areas. Just curious if I can make the engine and trans itself a "bolt-in".

PS-If anybody knows of a disc brake swap for a 1962 Electra, I think that's going to be next on the list.
