I guess you are going to have a rear end built to fit the truck? I would start with a 9 inch truck housing. They are pretty wide and can be narrowed to fit your truck. The truck housings are the strongest and many times you will get a Traction Lock differential and 31 spline axles in a truck rear end. But why not just build a 12 bolt Chevy truck rear end for it? The 12 bolt is plenty strong for what you are building. The 12 bolt is lighter and takes less power to trun, and it will be a lot cheaper to build.
