1963 ford fe conversion

I have a 63 ford country sedan wagon - currently its powered by a stock 352/2 brl carter carb - I want to build a 429 and install in the wagon - so my question is - I know or belive to know that the motor mounts for the fe block will not work with the 429 - if this is correct - whats my solution to make the 429 work - I hope I am not breaking any rules - but I am going to leave my personal email - I am new to the message board thing - don't want to get a possible solution and not know how to retrieve it- thanks for all the help - look foward to my mebership on the site -

BBB could give a better answer,

but if i recall correctly, you can flip the FE motor mounts over and use them safely on a 429.
why not go with a 428? same motor as your 352.....

oh, and welcome to Hotrodders.com

Welcome James!! You've come to the right place for answers. And NOPE you haven't broke any rules. Just remember DO NOT feed the Trolls. Be sure to check out our Knowledge Base when you have some free time. Lots of good info there also.
