1964 Chevy II wagon wire code problems

I am finishing up a 64 wagon with blown SBC, but ran into 50 years of previous owners wire "upgrades".

PROBLEM:
I have a new directional (turn) signal switch with 7 wires...
1 purple
1 white
1 yellow
1 black
1 dark blue
1 light blue
1 green

these go on the dash harness which has the following 8 wires
1 pink
1 yellow
1 tan
1 red
2 dark blue
2 light blue

I know some of the matches, but can't figure out completely.
Any advise out there? Thanks, Ron

Was the car wired for turn signals and now you are replacing the TS switch? Or what?
Your PROBLEM list of wires are standard GM colors (the black wire should be brown) for TS. The car should have these same colors.
See attached schematic for each wire function.

These might be just what I am looking for. My project is a tube chassised, 1969VW Squareback station wagon. It has a sbc 350/330 horse, 700R4 trans, narrowed 9" Ford triangulated 4-bar If I could just figure out how to print each diagram, that would be great
