Attached is a pic of the 64 Impala stock fuse box, the two "ignition/fused" slots are located on the upper left hand corner.

Are there no fuses associated with these slots, if not, why?

If I understand it correctly, these two slots are only "hot" in the run position (when the engine is started).
Are these two slots getting their juice directly from the battery, what's behind the configuration design?
