1964 Impala SS Dash
I'm interested in removing the stock dash pad on my 64 Impala SS and filling the pad holes on the metal dash, and painting the dash. I was advised that a few of the lower end models (BISCAYNE/BELAIR) came with with a "bare metal dash" (no dash cover) with no holes in dash.
Would it possible to exchange my SS padded dash with a Biscayne/Belair bare metal dash with no holes, which method would be less expensive or more cost effective, assuming both dashes are inter-changable.
