1965 elcamino front of motor ????
hello, i need some help with my 65, i just put in a motor and trans from a 67 , impala, my car is a air car and has power steering, it has the old double hump heads with no bolt holes on the front of the heads, im trying to put the alt., air and powersteering pump on, we put headers on the car, we no we got the power steering pump on right, it take the bracket, that puts the pump up alittle higher to miss thegear box, we can not find a way to put the alt. on with the pump where it is, does the air go on the pass side on the car and the alt. on the drivers side, we know we where proble going to have to make something to make it fit, but every way we put it its either to high cant close hood or way over by the finder , we are at a loss , need help bad, if any one has sovled this problem, or know where i can see a diagram or something, please help and thanks

With headers, you're going to have to buy a bracket to mount the alternator on the left side. The bracket, if I remember correctly, bolts to the two front exhaust holes.

Most all the header manufacturers make a mounting bracket for the alternator with headers. Here's an offering from Summit.
