1965 Impala How can I tell which trans is in the car?
Hi,
I have a 65 Impala with a 327 small block. I am trying to figure out what tranny I have in my car. Its an automatic and I believe its a 2 speed. I was told it could be a powerglide but I was also told it could be a turbo hydramatic. Some people said I could tell by the shape of the pan?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Eazy

The stock trans was a Powerglide, 2-speed. Only shifts once
