1965 mustang 302
Question,
I have excessive valve train lash. I am using a Lunati cam and lifter set along with lunati valve springs, stock rocker arms, stock 302 heads, and stock push rods. The rocker arms are not adjustable and my valve stem height is set to specs. I have verified with the local Mustang parts store my push rods are correct ( They matched them up with another set they had in stock) What could be the problem? My lifters are hydraulic non roller. |

You have incorrect valvetrain geometry. Go to the COMP CAMS website and it will be explained.
NOTE- You do not need adjustable rocker arms. |
